888 party was held at Vanity Nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel.  There was open bar, h’ordeuvres, girls in tiny outfits, and 888 pros 2009 WSOP last woman standing Leo Margets, cricketeer Shane Warne, new 888 pro Claire Renaut, and Australian boxer Jeff Fenech were all in attendance.

There was a ‘Blue Carpet’ to meet and greet the pros before proceeding up the escalator to the dark open neon blue club.  The outdoor patio has a huge fire pit, booths, and a view overlooking the Hard Rock Pool.

I was pretty tired from the parties over the weekend so I promised myself NO drinking!  However, I’m a sucker for open bars so my choice of drink for the evening was black Russian.   Two cocktails, a plateful of cheesey spinach dip, and a few shrimp skewers later I got to business, filmed my video and realised the bar had closed.  A pit stop to the bathroom revealed the most stunning part of the club.

UB @ Mandarin Orange

The Ultimate Bet party was at the top of Mandarin Oriental in a sweet lounge that had postcard views of the strip.

The UB parties are always my favorite, they have the best crew and definitely can out drink any other poker site!

UB = Unlimited Booze

I got to the party at midnight and my friend I went with was a little drunk asking everyone for directions to the Mandarin Orange, when its actually the Mandarin Oriental, the name stuck and now I don’t think I could call it anything else.  Phil Hellmuth, Scott Ian, Pearl, Hollywood Dave, Devo, Debo, Poker H0,  Annie, Tiffany Michelle, and many more of the UB pros and online qualifiers were there taking advantage of the free cocktails.

There was a wedding proposal by the loser of the UB last longer prop bet and I also got a nice view of the massive tattoo he also had to get for losing. 

Not sure what hurts worse, getting a tatt or getting a UB tatt

The party moved down to the casino later and I lost $200 at penny Goldfish slots waiting for my last black Russian of the evening.  Will I ever learn??
