WSOP Day 36 Update: ###’s, Last Tournies Before the Main & Party Time Excellent! Wooo whooo whooo whooo
Party Time Excellent!!!
Yes it is finally here party weekend and now I am faced with the dilemma of where to be and when and how to fit so many parties into so little time. Here is what I’ve mapped out on my scratch paper/bootleg day planner:
- July 2nd: World Series of BBQ @ Golden Nugget followed by the DeepStacks University Party @ Wasted Space
- July 3rd: 2 + 2 Flip-a-ment @ Aria then race to Ante Up For Africa @ Rio for the 2pm tournament. Then get to the Hard Rock in time for the 5pm cocktail party and 7pm media tournament then decide based on where I’m at in the event whether or not I’ll go to Blush for the Doyle’s Room party or to Green Valley Ranch for Steel Panther!
- July 4th: Celebrate Independence Day and Phil Gordons 40th Bday party @ Perry Friedmans then make way to Sapphire Strip Club for the Bluff Magazine party late night.
- July 5th: Main Event Day 1a chaos and the 888 party in the evening.
- July 6th: Detox!
I will of course have lots of vids and fun stories from each and every stop!
End of the Road
The last two tournies started today, day 1b of the $1k and the $2,500 NLH. There are big crowds here at the Rio as players make their last attempt to score a bracelet or a big cash before the main event. There is also the $5k Ante Up For Africa charity tournament which starts tomorrow afternoon. Big named celebs play the event and its up to the winner to donate a % to the charity.
