Sugar Bear on Feet
I have to say I’m not a fan of the open man feet seen all Summer at the WSOP. I showed a pic of Ivey in his bare feet earlier this series and today I bumped into Al Barbieri barefoot in the amazon room. I may have pointed out to him how grossed out I get when it comes to man feet but apparently he shares the same feelings and says he was just relaxing the dogs after taking making hikes up and down the long stretch of hallways. I must say for a dude he does have nice feet. He did mention that men should ONLY wear mandals when 1. At the beach or 2. In a locker room. I 100% agree and am relieved that someone FINALLY shares the same feelings. Yes these are the conversations that happen at midnight at the WSOP.

ewwww. This should be a fashion DONT lesson to all men!
Limit Shootout
Well if I could come up with a more boring event it would have to be the World Series of Paint Drying. No but really it is a pretty awful event and I’m not sure how anyone can even play a slow moving tournament like this. I feel bad for the field reporters covering the never ending limit bore-a-ment.
Compncards on Phil
Compncards was describing the douchers here at the WSOP and yes there are many that I agree with. However he goes on to say, “Hellmuth has a big ego at the table, and has a big ego in real life.” I know Phil has a bad rep at the table and the ‘Poker Brat’ image to keep up with, but he is very different in real life. I’ve known Phil for 4 years and not that we are close or anything but I think he is one of the nicest and most generous persons in poker and he is also a blast to hang out with. I’ve seen him drop thousands on Dom to make sure people are having a good time, he’s gone out of his way to right things when UB has wronged them, and he’s even bought me a lap dance. So despite the haters I’m a big Phil fan, cheers to number 12 in the World Series of Poker stats!

Oh Aruba how I miss you!!!!

Ya, we know, but he still has an ego.

yeah but in the many conversations Ive had with him away from any poker environment has never been about how great he is or what he has done. I’ve also been around conversations hes had with others and know many of his friends and if a debate is brought up its usually 3am and then yes he may go on an ‘Im Phil F’ing Hellmuth’ rant, but honestly he is nowhere near how he appears on TV.

I never said Phil wasn’t nice or generous. I said he has a big ego. That still shines through away from the table. He just isn’t the same loud obnoxious brat that he puts on at the table. He is still the first to tell you how great he is, how he goes here and there and does this or that. Ego does not = asshole. Ego = Ego and Hellmuth has an Ego.
