The Dates for the 2011 WSOP Have Been Released

The dates for the 2011 World Series of Poker have been released.  Woot!  Here is what we know so far via the press release sent today by the folks over at Caesars.

2011 WSOP Dates

1.  The 2011 WSOP will be from May 31st to July 14, 2011.

2.  The Main Event will kick off on July 7th and run through July 19th.  There will also be 4 starting dates.

3.  “Hard stop times” will be enforced in the next WSOP.  Once you get to 10 levels, that is it.  You will bag and tag and go home for the night.

4.  The words “November Nine” have been left off of the press release.  @Kevmath twittered me that there will be an announcement soon regarding the WSOP and ESPN.  Could this be the end of the November Nine?

5.  The full schedule will be released in January.  Essentially, this was a teaser to shut us up from asking “when will the dates for the 2011 WSOP be released?”

So there you have it folks.  Now you know when the 2011 World Series of Poker will kick off.  Naturally, I will let you guys and gals know when the full schedule is out.
