Shaun Deeb WSOP Ladies Event Statement
This vid is a must see! I won’t ruin anything by giving away too much detail but I will fill you in on some background.
Shaun Deeb entered and played the 2010 WSOP Ladies Event dressed in drag. Shaun entered the event to prove a point that segregated events should not be a part of the WSOP. He did say he was dressed as a woman because he lost a prop bet and bought out after the first break, coming back sporting a hat and tee straight from the gift shop. Deeb also insists that he was planning on donating 25% of his winnings to a female based charity.
Now the WSOP is threatening consequences on the men who participated in event. Nothing has been said definitively yet as far as what those consequences will be, but it has been said there will be repercussions.
