It’s Ivey’s World – We Just Fund It
Some Phil Ivey musings…some for fun…some true and funny at the same time.
Phil Ivey is called the “Tiger Woods of Poker” but they should call Tiger the “Phil Ivey of Golf.”
When Howard Lederer asked Ivey how he won two bracelets at the WSOP, Ivey said, “I added the FOLD to my arsenal. They never knew what hit them.” (Thanks to Howard Lederer’s twitter for that.)
Chuck Norris and Phil Ivey met in a bar and started staring at each other. People started getting nervous until Norris folded and Ivey took the pot.
Tom “durrrr” Dwan may want to consider renaming the “Million Dollar Challenge” to the “Phil Ivey Freeroll” if they square off. (Which I doubt will happen.)
Among the books in Ivey’s comedy section is Phil Hellmuth’s “Play Poker Like the Pros”
What relationship does the IRS and Phil Ivey have with Phil Hellmuth? They both take Millions off him and there is nothing he can do to stop them.
(At last year’s WSOP) During the 10k Stud World Championship, Phil Ivey made the statement, “I would like to watch the Laker game” and 3 technicians arrive unannounced rewired two of the clocks for television. After the game was over, they came back and rewired the clock. Someone else asked for the TV back and was denied.
