Did You Hear? Norman Chad Cashed at the WSOP
For those of you that didn’t watch ESPN’s WSOP Main Event coverage, Norman Chad cashed at the WSOP this year. Sunday night, I actually sat and watched about 3 hours worth of the Main Event for the first time in a long time. I must admit that part of it was due to the fact it was the only thing on among the paltry few channels my hotel room had. The other reason was the fact that Ivey was getting a lot of face time.

Even Norman Chad Can Play the Pokahs
For once, I was actually interested in watching the show. Some of the hands Ivey were almost master lessons in the game. Did you hear that Norman Chad cashed at the WSOP this year? It was almost sick at times to see Ivey just pick apart his opponents. And the sad part is that they kept coming. I understand players tangling with Phil Hellmuth. For all that Hellmuth has accomplished, he really isn’t the best at what he does anymore. Ivey was not only on his game, but he was running well too. No wonder people just kept handing him their chips.
By the way, did you hear that Norman Chad cashed? Actually, that was not all that surprising. The very first Stud 8 tournament that I had played in Los Angeles, Norman Chad was in the field and got deep in the event. I don’t believe he cashed in that one, but he was in the hunt for a while. I was happy to see him get that cash. (Just one more career cash Norm and you can tie ME.)
