2010 World Series of Poker Day 4 Second Update – Classic Photos From the WSOP So Far
I wish that I could tell you that it has been an exciting evening here at the 2010 World Series of Poker. Granted, there has been a lot of great poker going on, but there really hasn’t been any off the wall stories to tell.
The $50,000 Poker Player’s Championship is now in the money. Andy Bloch was the first player to bust after the bubble burst. They will play to the final table which will commence tomorrow and be the first televised final table of the event. Omaha 8 or Better is playing down to the money and supposedly the final table tonight. I’m betting it will play down to two or three tables and come back tomorrow for completion.
Since there hasn’t been a lot going on today, I decided that instead I would show off a few funny pics that I happened to get while trolling the events. Let’s call this “Caption the WSOP.”
I walked by Bret Jungblut aka Gank talking to someone about world peace. Of course, I wonder if he might have had one too many:
I spotted Howard Lederer in the Omaha 8 event and decided to go get his pic. Of course, as I am doing so, he is all-in and subsequently busts.
In this one, I don’t think Ivey got enough sleep last night:
Nice poker face there Ted Forrest:
All I can say about this one is….ALLIGATOR! (Please go to this clip on Youtube to find out why this is funny.)
One thing Daniel loves is hearing himself talk about….himself. This poor fella had the “pleasure” to sit beside him.
Warning! Matusow blowup coming! Warning!
I think Marco is enjoying this massage a bit much eh?
“Dear Lord, please send me A-A-2-3 double suited. I have been a really good boy. Scratch that. I TRIED to be a really good boy.”
I think the massage therapist massaged Mel Judah to death here.
This guy wants to make it clear that him and Jeff Madsen are NOT together.
I noticed something while going through my pics. Gavin Smith looks a helluva lot like Kathy Liebert. Tell me what you think?
Ok folks. That’s enough for tonight. Day 5 of the WSOP kicks off two more events. The $5,000 NL Holdem shootout starts at Noon PDT and the $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Event starts at 5 p.m. tomorrow. The final tables of both the $50,000 Poker Player’s Championship and the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo Events are also tomorrow as well.
Come back tomorrow as we bring you more coverage of the 2010 WSOP.
