The 6 Worst Gus Hansen Suckouts of the Decade (video)

Gus Hansen - characteristic profile in poker
Gus Hansen is known for playing any two cards and then suckout on his opponents if needed. The proof is in these clips. Or is it?
Gus Hansen vs. Erik Seidel
Gus Hansen amazingly lucky in $200k Pot against Erik Seidel. Top pair vs. trips.
Gud Hansen vs. Daniel Negreanu
Gus has 55 against Negreanu’s 66 and wins the biggest pot in the history of High Stakes Poker (at the time).
Gus Hansen vs Freddy Deeb
Gus Hansen calls a huge bet pre-flop with QT vs. Freddy Deeb’s AK. A match-up which, obviously, Deeb cannot win. After the game, Freddy Deeb comments on Gus Hansen’s play:
“I would like to play this game with him every day. For the rest of my life.”
Gus Hansen vs. Antonio Esfandiari
Gus Hansen calls an all in with QJ. Antonio Esfandiari has him beaten with a king high, but that’s not good enough. (Four minutes into the clip.)
Gus Hansen vs. Erica Schoenberg
The sickest river card you could ever imagine. To be really honest, though, Gus is a favorite when the money goes in.
Gus Hansen vs. Jeff Madsen
AQ vs AJ for Madsen. Madsen turns a J, leaving Gus Hansen with only seven percent winning chances. This may not be a genuine suckout since Gus is ahead when the money goes in, but still, Gus is saved by a dream card on the river.
