Isildur1 Has his own Logic
Has Isildur1 been staked or not? He seems to give contradicting answers to this question.
In an interview with pokernews.com from December 2009, Isildur1 gets the question if he’s played with some kind of backer and claims that at least he’s never done it on Full Tilt Poker.
PN: Did you ever sell any of your action, or were you ever staked?
Isildur1: Recently, I have never sold a piece of myself. … on Full Tilt Poker I always played for 100% of myself.
Later in the interview though, in reply to an unrelated question, he seems to oppose the above assertion:
PN: Will you be playing again on Full Tilt Poker?
Isildur1: Yes, I just did recently. I played a small number of hands with durrrr. I had no money on Full Tilt Poker, but I got staked by a friend for $50,000
If those statements had been claimed by anyone else but Isildur1, they would certainly seem to contradict one another.
However, the apparent contradiction goes away and logic is re-installed if you consider one simple fact:
$50K is not money to Isildur1.
