“Shit just got real” between Scott and Mike Matusow.

Scott started calling Mike out on twitter yesterday, but things really got heated today in his “Open Letter to Mike Matusow.”

Scott calls Mike out in an open letter on his website.

The highlights of the letter are below. Note that these are comments made by Scott Matsuow:

• Scott claims Mike has a severe gambling addiction in addition to an addiction to legal drugs.
• Mike only contacts his parents when he needs something
• Mike has cost himself deals based on his actions. He shows up late to engagements that he is supposed to attend or blows them off altogether.
• Scott claims Mike is a total douche bag to his entire family.
• Mike’s agent told him to get out of his Full Tilt deal a full year before Black Friday because he was getting screwed over.

I gave you the “PG” cliff notes of the letter. While I am not a huge Scott Matusow fan, it is clear there are some ongoing issues between the two that Scott seems to be using a public forum to address.

I’m wondering what Scott is trying to accomplish here. Have things deteriorated between the two to the point where this is the only way he can communicate with his brother?

Is this a scream for attention by Scott? I don’t know Scott, so I am not going to say I have any clue to his mindset. However, what I will say is that this is the type of matter that shouldn’t be played out in public.

Then again, I’m the same guy who hasn’t spoken to his brother in at least 5 years and could care less if he never hears from his sister.

I’ve got my reasons, and I suspect Scott does too for why he did what he did.
