Chip for a Chair Update
As of today it has been two weeks since I started my adventure. When I began I was hoping that it would take off like wildfire. Seeing myself at the WSOP seemed like a sure thing. Just as when you have any new idea it burns in your mind like red hot embers. As the days drag on the glow lessens each day. I am still in it to win it, but I definitely have a more realistic view.

To try and help get my cause out there, I started writing a blog. Shortly after I started it I was asked by Poker Junkie to write a blog for them. Needless to say I was pretty excited about that. Being picked up by PJ was major development. It would help me reach a much broader audience than the one that was reading my personal blog. In addition to the blogs I also created a group of Facebook, Chip for a Chair, and as of this posting it has 67 members. (Search for it and join to get regular up dates) In that first week I made two trades. Each trade brought me a little closer to my goal, a $1000 seat at the World Series of Poker.
During this second week things have progressed a little slower. I have made only one trade. I have had a couple of people tell me they want to make a trade, but as of yet they have made no offers. While some of the shine has worn off, I am no where near ready to throw the towel in. I have just had to readjust my outlook. I know now this will not happen over night. I just have to keep plugging along.
Keep checking back here at Poker Junkie to follow my progress, as well as reading all the other great posts and information that is available. And remember always play it like you’ve got the nuts.

Good Luck Frank!

The third trade is for 3 poker books, Super System 2, Online Poker by Doyle Brunson, and Zen and the Art of Poker. Super System is of course one of the greatest book ever written on poker, so I was pretty excited about that one, the other two seem to be an OK read.
